Set to revolutionise public procurements across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, stakeholders are gearing up for the transition with a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) initiative slated to roll out ahead of the Act’s debut in October 2024.
Designed to equip stakeholders with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the forthcoming changes, the L&D program is poised to be a game-changer. From short, informative Knowledge Drop videos catering to suppliers, Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), to in-depth eLearning modules and intensive Deep Dive sessions, the program promises to cater to diverse learning needs.
Targeting professionals operating within public sector procurement or commercial functions, the Welsh Government is taking proactive steps to supplement the UK Government’s core eLearning offerings. An additional six bespoke eLearning modules focusing on the unique legislative landscape in Wales will ensure stakeholders are well-versed in the nuances of local regulations.
